It’s not often you find an organization that provides website/directory presence right out of the box like Local Thunder (LT) offers.  Located in Portland Maine, LT is among the best-of-the-best in SaaS services provided in the industry.  Credited for helping local communities like, the Portland Downtown District, Midtown Baltimore, and Downtown Mesa, LT enables their clients to reach thousand of local consumers they normally wouldn’t service.

LT also scores well in employee satisfaction – “I love this place!  I’m SO glad I decided to join the ranks.”  During a recent visit of their corporate office, the energy and culture of the organization is palpable.  They even have a look-a-like Donald Sutherland.  A much younger version of the man, but strikingly similar nonetheless.

From the top brass to the front lines, LT is an employee first, roll up your sleeves and we’ll get the job done together family.

A city you should visit!

Nov 8, 2011   //   by asce7163   //   Portland Maine  //  1 Comment

Portland Maine is one of the best small cities in the U.S.  Located in the Southern portion of the state, Portland has the largest population in Maine – 250,000 in the greater Portland area – and one of the most diverse cities north of Boston.

We Mainers liken Portland to a scaled down version of Boston.  Don’t let the size fool you – Portland boasts a rich cultural heritage that dates back well into the 1800′s.  The school districts located in-and-around Portland consists of a diverse student body representing over 70 + countries like Iraq, Sudan, Spain and many more.

It’s a great city to visit and even better place to live.  Ranked as the 2009, “top food” city in the U.S. by GQ Magazine,  Portland provides a vast aray of restaurants (Fore Street, Bresca,  Emilitsa) to quench even the foodiest of foodies palates.  Stop in for a Strawberry Margarita at Sonny’s and mingle with the locals to background sounds of Miles Davis to the Foo Fighters.

We love Portland!  To find out more about this great city visit Portland’s Downtown District website, or call  207-772-6828
